This course is a Standard First Aid (SFA) and CPR-C course. It contains comprehensive training covering all aspects of first aid and CPR. Whether you need training for employment or simply want to the prepared to re- spond to life-threatening emergencies, this course will give you the skills and knowledge to act with confi- dence. Candidates will learn how to treat head/neck injuries, soft tissue and musculoskeletal injuries, and medical emergencies.
The AED portion of this course is designed for individuals who are required to render first aid as part of their job (ex. Lifeguards, OFA Attendants) and people who are responsible for AED maintenance, staff training and/or first aid policy and procedure development. It will cover how to use an AED and AED maintenance, as well as post incident follow-up procecures.
Note: if you are interested in becoming a lifeguard, this is the first aid course you will need.
